    Destination: Cairo, Egypt
    No Book

    Story Synopsis:

A young girl vacationing in Egypt, caught in an emotional upheaval over her feelings for her fiance and the attentions of a native camel herder.

    Sneak peek of story:

Hey, beautiful, you want camel?’ Clare yanked her gaze from the pyramid in front of her and turned towards the eager man, her lips almost lifting in a smile....

In all her life, she’d never imagined being called beautiful and asked about a camel in the same breath. But even that couldn’t lift the dark mood that had swamped her for the past few days. The past five days, to be exact: ever since she’d said yes to Jon’s proposal.'

What location did you choose for your SUNLOUNGER story?
Cairo, where my husband grew up. It’s a fascinating city full of contradictions.

Have your books featured any exotic destinations?
They have! CONSTRUCT A COUPLE features Manhattan, while in THE POLLYANNA PLAN, both the hero and heroine travel to Lopud, an island off the Croatian coast.

If you could live anywhere in the world…
I’m living in it! It has to be London, for sure. Although I grew up in Canada and I’ve also lived in the US and Poland, the variety of things to do in London is like anywhere else in the world.

Destination you’ve returned to the most times?
I’d love to say somewhere quirky and remote but Paris is the city that draws me to it time and again. It’s a huge cliché but there is something so romantic about the narrow streets in the Marais and the hilltop lanes of Montmartre.

    Ticket, passport, money and…
Hairspray. Flat hair in any part of the world bums me out.

Favourite cuisine from around the world?
I love Egyptian falafel! Cheap, yummy, and filling.

    Favourite holiday cocktail?
Lime margarita! The more tequila, the better.

What was your best/worst holiday romance?
    I’ve never had a holiday romance! Boo…
